Some of my clients need headshot photos for dance and pageant auditions. In those cases, they usually need "smiley" photos. While I'm happy to oblige, I always ask my clients if they'll do some "serious" photos for me as well. I'm always blown away by the beauty.

When a young woman goes from smiling to serious, she looks mysterious and fierce (of course she's stunning when she's smiling as well!) I'm a huge fan of America's Next Top Model even though I'm nowhere near the demographic. There are a lot of good tips to be learned. Typically, the models don't smile and those are the photos I treasure most.

I'm so enamored of this young lady's face. I had a blast taking these.
