MLK Day at Yale Peabody Museum

For 22 years, the Yale Peabody Museum in New Haven, CT has held a hip hop dance competition on Martin Luther King Day as part of their MLK Day celebration. There was also an art contest, free books for the children, and plenty of places to sign up to be a community organizer. I encourage you to attend next year! What a wonderful way to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event is free to the public and they also offer discounted memberships. The Peabody membership is reciprocal with participating museums 90 miles away or further. We were able to use our membership to get into The Intrepid. Here is a complete list of participating museums: http://www.astc.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ASTCTravelPassport-Public-6ptfont-NOV2016.pdf

Here are a few photos I took with my Fuji XT-1 using my 24 lens. I shot at a high ISO without any flash in a dark room so you'll notice some grain.
